TL;DR
This study investigates the giant magnetoimpedance effect in Vitrovac amorphous ribbons across a broad frequency spectrum, revealing diverse peak behaviors and GMI ratios influenced by static magnetic fields.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the frequency-dependent GMI characteristics of Vitrovac ribbons in different magnetic field configurations.
Findings
GMI effect observed from 0.3 to 400 MHz
Multiple peak features within a small field range
Variation in GMI ratios depending on magnetic field
Abstract
Giant magneto impedance (GMI) effect for as-cast Vitrovac amorphous ribbons (Vacuumschmelze, Germany) in two configurations (parallel and normal to the ribbon axis) is studied over the frequency range [0.3-400 MHz] and under static magnetic fields -160 Oe +160 Oe. A variety of peak features and GMI ratio values, falling within a small field range, are observed and discussed.
