TL;DR
This paper maps the critical magnetic field phase diagram of a highly anisotropic organic superconductor, revealing Pauli-limited behavior and enabling calculation of the superconducting energy gap.
Contribution
It provides a detailed phase diagram for an organic superconductor under magnetic fields parallel to layers, highlighting Pauli-limited effects and the influence of spin-orbit scattering.
Findings
Critical fields are Pauli-limited, enabling energy gap calculation.
The phase diagram is nearly perfect and anisotropic.
Spin-orbit scattering and many-body effects influence the measurements.
Abstract
We present a nearly perfect Pauli-limited critical field phase diagram for the anisotropic organic superconductor $\alpha_2_4_4{H_{c_2}{H_{c_2}$ is Pauli-limited, the size of the superconducting energy gap can be calculated. The role of spin-orbit scattering and many-body effects play a role in explaining our measurements.
