TL;DR
This paper evaluates new integration schemes for dissipative particle dynamics simulations, comparing their performance and identifying promising methods for large-scale soft matter system studies.
Contribution
It introduces and assesses novel dissipative particle dynamics integration schemes, highlighting Lowe and Shardlow methods as particularly effective for large-scale simulations.
Findings
Lowe and Shardlow methods outperform others in accuracy and efficiency
The study provides a comprehensive comparison of integration schemes
Identifies promising methods for future large-scale soft matter simulations
Abstract
In this work we assess the quality and performance of several novel dissipative particle dynamics integration schemes that have not previously been tested independently. Based on a thorough comparison we identify the respective methods of Lowe and Shardlow as particularly promising candidates for future studies of large-scale properties of soft matter systems.
