Spin-current induced electric field
Qing-feng Sun, Hong Guo, and Jian Wang

TL;DR
This paper theoretically demonstrates that a steady spin-current can generate an electric field without any charge current, providing formulas for the induced electric field and the interaction energy with external fields.
Contribution
It introduces a novel theoretical prediction linking pure spin-currents to electric field induction and derives explicit formulas for these effects.
Findings
Pure steady spin-current can induce an electric field.
Formulas for the induced electric field and interaction energy are derived.
The interaction between moving spins and external electric fields is characterized.
Abstract
We theoretically predict that a pure steady state spin-current without charge-current can induce an electric field. A formula for the induced electric field is derived and we investigate its characteristics. Conversely, a moving spin is affected by an external electric field and we present a formula for the interaction energy.
