The minority game: effects of strategy correlations and timing of adaptation
David Sherrington, Tobias Galla

TL;DR
This paper reviews the minority game, focusing on how strategy correlations and adaptation timing influence the complex behavior of agents in a simplified market model.
Contribution
It investigates the effects of strategy correlations and adaptation timing on the minority game's complex dynamics, providing insights into market-like systems.
Findings
Strategy correlations significantly affect system behavior
Timing of adaptation alters collective dynamics
Complex many-body phenomena observed in the model
Abstract
A brief review is given of the minority game, an idealized model of a market of speculative agents, and its complex many-body behaviour. Particular consideration is given to the consequences and implications of correlations between stategies and different frequencies and timings of adaptation.
