TL;DR
This paper introduces a model for communication in complex networks that addresses search efficiency and congestion, providing a framework to identify optimal network structures for improved performance.
Contribution
It presents a novel model and framework for analyzing and optimizing search and congestion in complex networks.
Findings
Identifies network structures that optimize search efficiency.
Provides insights into congestion management in network communication.
Offers a general framework applicable to various network types.
Abstract
A model of communication that is able to cope simultaneously with the problems of search and congestion is presented. We investigate the communication dynamics in model networks and introduce a general framework that enables a search of optimal structures.
