Correlated hopping in the 1D Falicov-Kimball model
Zbigniew Gajek, Romuald Lemanski

TL;DR
This paper explores the phase diagrams of the one-dimensional Falicov-Kimball model with correlated hopping, revealing asymmetries and phase behavior differences compared to the conventional model.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive phase diagrams of the 1D FKM with correlated hopping in both canonical and grand canonical ensembles.
Findings
Loss of hole-particle symmetry in phase diagrams
Identification of new phase regions due to correlated hopping
Thermodynamic limit analysis of the model
Abstract
Both canonical and grand canonical phase diagrams of the one-dimensional Falicov-Kimball model (FKM) with correlated hopping are presented for several values of the model parameters. Using the method of restricted phase diagrams the system has been studied in the thermodynamic limit. As compare to the conventional FKM, the diagrams exhibit a loss of the hole-particle symmetry.
