Magnetic edge states of impenetrable stripe
A. Matulis, T. Pyragiene

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of electrons near an impenetrable stripe in a strong magnetic field, calculating the energy spectrum and comparing it to that of a round antidot using singular integral equations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel analysis of magnetic edge states around an impenetrable stripe and compares these states with those of a round antidot.
Findings
Energy spectrum of electrons near the stripe calculated
Comparison with round antidot spectrum provided
Singular integral equation technique applied
Abstract
The electron motion in a strong perpendicular magnetic field close to the impenetrable stripe is considered by making use of the singular integral equation technique. The energy spectrum is calculated and compared with the energy spectrum of the round antidot.
