Comments on: "Universal Features of Time Dynamics in a Left-Handed Perfect Lens" by G.Gomez-Santos
N.Garcia, M.Nieto-Vesperinas

TL;DR
This paper critiques previous claims about perfect lensing with left-handed materials, highlighting fundamental physical limitations due to wavefield divergence and energy divergence issues.
Contribution
It provides a critical analysis showing the impossibility of perfect lensing with left-handed slabs because of wavefield divergence and energy accumulation.
Findings
Perfect lensing with left-handed materials is impossible due to wave divergence.
Wavefield norm diverges, leading to infinite energy accumulation.
Stationary states cannot be achieved with such slabs.
Abstract
Recently, we have shown the impossibility of perfect lensing with left-handed material slabs, gue to the divergence of the wavefield norm, and hence to the infinite enegy that would accumulate the slab in order to build the stationary state.
