TL;DR
This paper investigates the interactions among anyons in a fractional statistics gas, revealing a short-range attraction that influences the spectral properties of charge-1 particles through an exact three-body analysis.
Contribution
It provides an exact three-body solution demonstrating the short-range attractive interaction between anyons in a 1/λ-statistics gas.
Findings
Anyons exhibit short-range attractive interactions.
Interaction significantly affects the spectral function of charge-1 particles.
Exact three-body solution elucidates particle dynamics.
Abstract
We analyze the dynamics between 1/-fractional statistics particles (anyons) in an exact three-body solution of the Sutherland Hamiltonian. We show that anyons interact by means of a short-range attraction. The interaction dictates important features of the spectral function for a charge-1 particle.
