Superradiance from crystals of molecular nanomagnets
E. M. Chudnovsky, D. A. Garanin

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that crystals of molecular nanomagnets can produce intense superradiant electromagnetic emission, leading to rapid magnetic relaxation, with a detailed theoretical analysis of the superradiance process.
Contribution
It provides a rigorous theoretical framework for superradiance in molecular nanomagnet crystals, highlighting their potential for giant magnetic relaxation phenomena.
Findings
Crystals of molecular nanomagnets can exhibit superradiance.
Superradiance causes giant magnetic relaxation.
Theoretical treatment of superradiance induced by field pulses.
Abstract
We show that crystals of molecular nanomagnets can exhibit giant magnetic relaxation due to the Dicke superradiance of electromagnetic waves. Rigorous treatment of the superradiance induced by a field pulse is presented.
