Extended complex scalar field as quintessence
Yi-Huan Wei

TL;DR
This paper explores a model where an extended complex scalar field acts as quintessence, deriving equations that describe the universe's evolution and unifying real and complex quintessence models through a parameter.
Contribution
It introduces a generalized complex scalar field model for quintessence, bridging real and complex cases via a new parameter, and derives the governing equations for cosmic evolution.
Findings
The model encompasses both real and complex quintessence as special cases.
Derived equations describe the universe's evolution with the extended complex scalar field.
Potential implications for understanding dark energy dynamics.
Abstract
In this paper, we show the possibility that an extended complex scalar field can be considered as an extended complex quintessence. For this model, we derive the basic equations with a parameter which govern the evolution of the Universe. Our model may contain a complex quintessence model for and a real quitessence model for .
