Electromagnetic Radiation and Motion of Real Particle
Jozef Klacka

TL;DR
This paper derives a relativistically covariant equation of motion for a neutral dust particle influenced by electromagnetic radiation, expressed through its optical properties, advancing understanding of particle dynamics in electromagnetic fields.
Contribution
It introduces a new covariant equation of motion for neutral particles under electromagnetic radiation, linking optical properties with relativistic dynamics.
Findings
Equation of motion expressed in terms of optical properties.
Provides a covariant formulation applicable to stationary particles.
Enhances modeling of particle behavior in electromagnetic fields.
Abstract
Relativistically covariant equation of motion for real dust particle under the action of electromagnetic radiation is derived. The particle is neutral in charge. Equation of motion is expressed in terms of particle's optical properties, standardly used in optics for stationary particles.
