TL;DR
This paper updates the AGASA cosmic ray event list above 4×10^19 eV, providing new event coordinates, an updated energy spectrum, and arrival directions based on data collected until May 2000.
Contribution
It presents an updated list of ultra-high-energy cosmic ray events and refines the energy spectrum and arrival direction analysis using consistent methods.
Findings
Nine events above 4×10^19 eV identified
Updated energy spectrum presented
Arrival direction map provided
Abstract
After our Ap.J. publication of the Akeno Giant Air Shower Array (AGASA) results in 1999 (Takeda et al., 1999), we observed nine events with energies above 4 10eV until May 2000. This short report lists the coordinates of these events, and shows the updated energy spectrum and arrival direction map. The analysis was carried out with the same procedure employed in the Ap.J. publication.
