TL;DR
This paper investigates the Azbel mortality assumption using a theoretical bit string model for biological aging, successfully reproducing the linear relationship between model parameters and demographic data.
Contribution
It introduces a bit string model that confirms the Azbel assumption of mortality, linking theoretical predictions with empirical demographic observations.
Findings
Reproduced the linear relationship between mortality parameters and demographic data.
Validated the Azbel assumption within a theoretical aging model.
Abstract
In this work we check the occurrence of the Azbel assumption of mortality within the framework of a bit string model for biological ageing. We reproduced the observed feature of linear correspondence between the fitting parameters of the death rate as obtained by Azbel with demographic data.
