## TL;DR

Silver diamine fluoride offers a minimally invasive solution for treating dental caries in adults, especially the elderly and medically compromised.

## Contribution

The paper highlights silver diamine fluoride as a novel, minimally invasive alternative to conventional dental treatments.

## Key findings

- Silver diamine fluoride is effective for managing dental caries in populations with physical or cognitive limitations.
- Conventional treatments are often inaccessible or unsuitable for elderly and medically compromised individuals.
- The dental field is increasingly adopting minimally invasive approaches like silver diamine fluoride.

## Abstract

Dental caries remains one of the most common chronic diseases in adults worldwide, particularly among the elderly and medically
compromised. Conventional restorative treatments are often inaccessible or contraindicated in these populations due to physical, cognitive,
or financial limitations. Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) has emerged as a powerful tool as the dental field embraces minimally invasive
options.
