Abstract
This study explored allied health students' understanding and perceptions of student supervision during remote clinical placements that had adopted a newly developed structured clinical supervision model. The study was conducted in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia. Participants were 60 occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech pathology students who completed placements facilitated by Majarlin, a University Department of Rural Health, in the region between February and December 2021. A convergent mixed‐methods design was used to study pre‐ and post‐placement surveys with Likert‐scale and open‐ended items.
