TL;DR
This paper describes the development of a new therapy for insomnia in teenagers with mental health issues using expert feedback.
Contribution
The study is the first to use iterative expert consultation to create a CBTi intervention for adolescents with co-morbid mental health.
Findings
CBTi is appropriate for early–mid adolescents with anxiety/depression.
Parent/caregiver involvement is necessary for the intervention.
The intervention includes 4 weekly sessions and a training package for non-sleep experts.
