## Abstract

The Post-Kala-Azar Dermal Leishmaniasis (PKDL) Consortium convened its seventh meeting from 28 to 29 November 2024 in Kolkata, India, to advance research and public health strategies related to PKDL and visceral leishmaniasis. This report summarizes the key discussions and outcomes of the meeting and proposes a way forward for addressing the last-mile challenge of eliminating leishmaniasis as a public health problem in South Asia and subsequently East Africa.
