TL;DR
This study explores how physical and psychological factors interact in fibromyalgia patients, finding that sex influences symptom profiles and that certain tools help identify psychosomatic risk.
Contribution
The study introduces a method combining physical and emotional assessments to profile fibromyalgia and identify psychosomatic risk factors.
Findings
Women had higher odds of fibromyalgia and showed chronic fatigue as a predominant symptom.
The Modified Somatic Perception Questionnaire was most effective in identifying fibromyalgia risk.
Fibromyalgia was more common in patients categorized as Depressive or Somatic using the DRAM tool.
