TL;DR
This study explores how leaders' dark personality traits affect employees' helpful behaviors through relationship quality and political skill, comparing managers and non-managers.
Contribution
The study introduces a comparative analysis of how Dark Triad traits influence OCB via LMX and political skill at different organizational levels.
Findings
Distinct patterns of association were found for each Dark Triad trait in relation to OCB.
LMX and political skill mediate the effects of Dark Triad traits on OCB.
Dynamics differ between managerial and non-managerial levels.
