## TL;DR

This paper presents the draft genome of a fungus that could be used as a natural weed killer, isolated from a plant called Rumex crispus.

## Contribution

The study provides the first draft genome sequence of Teratoramularia rumicicola strain TR4 using DNBSEQ technology.

## Key findings

- The genome sequence of T. rumicicola strain TR4 was successfully generated.
- The genome will aid in understanding taxonomy, pathogenicity, and secondary metabolite production in this species.

## Abstract

We present the draft genome sequence of Teratoramularia rumicicola strain TR4, a potential bioherbicide isolated from Rumex crispus and sequenced using the DNBSEQ technology. This genome provides a foundational resource for future studies on taxonomy, pathogenicity, and secondary metabolite biosynthesis in T. rumicicola.
