TL;DR
This paper presents the complete genome sequence of the Alternaria alternata strain LG038, isolated from pepper plants, using advanced sequencing technologies.
Contribution
The novel contribution is the whole-genome sequence and analysis of a specific Alternaria alternata strain isolated from Capsicum annuum.
Findings
The genome assembly has a size of 34,546,397 bp.
The GC content of the genome is 50.74%.
Abstract
The genome of Alternaria alternata strain LG038, isolated from pepper fruits, was sequenced using a combination of Illumina paired-end and PacBio HiFi technologies. The final assembly has a size of 34,546,397 bp and a GC content of 50.74%.
