## TL;DR

The paper presents the draft genome of a bacterial strain known for converting flavonoids into useful oxygenated derivatives.

## Contribution

The study provides a draft genome sequence revealing genes for cytochrome P450 enzymes involved in flavonoid modification.

## Key findings

- The draft genome of Nonomuraea bangladeshensis B208 was sequenced.
- Putative cytochrome P450 monooxygenase genes were identified in the genome.

## Abstract

Nonomuraea bangladeshensis B208 has been reported to convert several flavonoids into hydroxylated derivatives. Here, we present a draft genome sequence that reveals the gene sets encoding putative cytochrome P450 monooxygenases associated with the generation of oxygenated flavonoids of medical and nutritional relevance.
