Salif Maiga, Riku Ogawa, Masayuki Imajoh

TL;DR
This paper reports the complete genomes and plasmid profiles of five Lactococcus strains isolated from fish species in Japan.
Contribution
The study provides new complete genome sequences and plasmid information for Lactococcus strains from Japanese and greater amberjack.
Findings
The genome of Lactococcus garvieae KN161025 contains no plasmids.
Four Lactococcus formosensis strains each carry two plasmids.
Abstract
The complete genome sequences of Lactococcus garvieae KN161025 and Lactococcus formosensis strains KN19830, KN201130, KN211206, and KU211113 were determined. Strain KN161025 contained no plasmids, whereas KN19830, KN201130, KN211206, and KU211113 carried two plasmids each.
Genes, proteins, chemicals, diseases, species, mutations and cell lines named across the full text — each resolved to its canonical identifier and authoritative record.
