## Abstract

We report here the genome sequence of the bacterium Pseudomonas sp. WMBT8 isolated from the gastrointestinal tract of the glacial relic freshwater fish Myoxocephalus thompsonii (deepwater sculpin). DNA sequencing results showed that strain WMBT8 had a single circular genome of 6.1 Mb with a GC content of 61%.
