Muhammed Bartu Varol, Berkin Özyilmaz Kircali

TL;DR
This study explores how first trimester maternal diet may influence the risk of early pregnancy loss, finding that higher dietary fiber intake is associated with lower risk.
Contribution
The study provides new evidence on the protective role of maternal nutritional status, particularly dietary fiber, in reducing early pregnancy loss risk.
Findings
Higher intake of dietary fiber was negatively correlated with early pregnancy loss risk after adjusting for confounders.
Control group showed significantly better dietary habits, including higher supplement use and meal frequency.
No significant difference in nutrition knowledge levels was found between the two groups.
