RETRACTION: miR‐107 Regulates Growth and Metastasis of Gastric Cancer Cells via Activation of the PI3K‐AKT Signaling Pathway by Down‐Regulating FAT4

TL;DR
This paper was retracted due to concerns about duplicated figures and inconsistent data, which cast doubt on its conclusions about miR-107's role in gastric cancer.
Contribution
The paper originally claimed miR-107 promotes gastric cancer growth and metastasis by down-regulating FAT4 and activating the PI3K-AKT pathway.
Findings
The paper reported that miR-107 activates the PI3K-AKT pathway in gastric cancer cells.
It claimed miR-107 down-regulates FAT4 to promote cancer growth and metastasis.
The study's conclusions were based on data that could not be verified due to irregularities in figures.
