Abstract
Introduction: Topical corticosteroids (TC) play a vital role in the treatment of many diseases and have been prescribed extensively. Over-the-counter availability and self‑medication by patients make them one of the most commonly misused medications. As TC misuse is associated with serious adverse effects, it is important to know how much patients are aware of them. Aim and objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) related to TC use among patients attending the dermatology outpatient department of a tertiary care government institute located in southern Rajasthan, India.
