Abstract
Following a request from the European Commission, EFSA was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the safety and efficacy of vitamin E in the forms of tocopherol extracts from vegetable oils, tocopherol‐rich extracts from vegetable oils (delta rich) and alpha‐tocopherol, as technological feed additives for all animal species. The additives are already authorised for use in all animal species without a specified minimum or maximum level. The applicant provided evidence that the additives currently on the market comply with the existing conditions of authorisation. The EFSA Panel on Additives and Products or Substances used in Animal Feed (FEEDAP) concluded that the additives remain safe for the target species, the consumer and the environment.
