TL;DR
This paper reports the draft genome of a highly drug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain found in a hospital in Manaus, Brazil.
Contribution
The study provides the first draft genome sequence of a pan-resistant P. aeruginosa strain from an ICU in Amazonas.
Findings
The strain Pa047c is pan-resistant, showing resistance to all tested antibiotics.
The draft genome was sequenced and is representative of a clinical isolate from an ICU setting.
Abstract
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is currently considered a high-risk bacterium by the World Health Organization. Here, we present the draft genome of the pan-resistant P. aeruginosa Pa047c strain isolated from an intensive care unit from a hospital in the city of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.
