## TL;DR

This paper presents the draft genome of a salt-loving bacterium, Halomonas sulfidivorans, isolated from a salt farm and identifies genes related to polyhydroxybutyrate synthesis.

## Contribution

The study provides a new draft genome sequence and identifies genes for polyhydroxybutyrate synthesis in a halophilic bacterium.

## Key findings

- The draft genome of Halomonas sulfidivorans SD01 was sequenced.
- Genes involved in polyhydroxybutyrate synthesis were identified in the genome.

## Abstract

The draft genome sequence of Halomonas sulfidivorans, a halophilic bacterium from the class Gammaproteobacteria, isolated from the experimental salt farm of CSIR—CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. Genomic analysis reveals the presence of genes involved in the synthesis of polyhydroxybutyrate.
