## TL;DR

This paper presents genome sequences of Campylobacter bacteria from children with diarrhea and chickens in Bangladesh, aiming to understand the link between poultry and human infections.

## Contribution

The study provides new genomic data from human and chicken sources in Bangladesh to explore the genetic diversity and transmission of Campylobacter.

## Key findings

- Genomic sequences of 10 Campylobacter isolates from human and chicken sources were obtained.
- The data may help understand the association between chicken-derived Campylobacter and pediatric diarrhea.

## Abstract

Campylobacter zoonosis from poultry remains a global public health concern. We report on the genomic data of Campylobacter jejuni and C. coli isolated from hospitalized pediatric diarrhea patients and chicken ceca in Bangladesh to help provide deeper insight into genetic diversity and the possible association of pediatric campylobacteriosis with chicken-derived Campylobacter.
