Martin Baxmann, Krisztina Kárpáti, Zoltán Baráth

TL;DR
This review finds that people with ADHD face more challenges in orthodontic treatment, including higher appliance breakage and lower cooperation.
Contribution
The study systematically reviews the impact of ADHD on orthodontic outcomes, highlighting the need for tailored strategies in this population.
Findings
Individuals with ADHD show higher rates of appliance breakage and lower cooperation scores.
ADHD is associated with more frequent treatment disruptions and poor oral hygiene.
Variability in study methods limits the comparability of results across studies.
