Abstract

A structured breast care session on lifestyle modifications and the lived experiences of post-mastectomy women is of interest. Using
a mixed-methods approach, 60 participants were evaluated quantitatively, showing a significant improvement in lifestyle scores (72.85%)
after the sessions. Qualitative interviews highlighted themes such as emotional responses, coping mechanisms and family support. Results
indicated a strong link between the intervention and improved emotional well-being. Thus, we show that culturally appropriate breast
care strategies enhance the recovery and psychosocial health of mastectomy clients.
