Shiyao Yin, Chunming Chen

TL;DR
Young public health workers face burnout due to high job demands and emotional exhaustion, with newly hired employees being most affected.

Job demands strongly correlate with emotional exhaustion but not with emotional labor.
Emotional exhaustion is the strongest predictor of burnout among young public health workers.
Newly hired employees experience higher emotional exhaustion and burnout than volunteers.
