Abstract
Mothers with preeclampsia may experience severe mental health problems during both the prenatal and postnatal periods. Therefore, it is essential to address their psychological needs, particularly after childbirth. This study aimed to explore the experiences of mothers with a history of preeclampsia within the Iranian socio‐cultural context using a qualitative approach. This study employed a qualitative content analysis design. Eleven women with a history of preeclampsia and 21 maternal healthcare providers and policymakers were selected through purposive sampling in Kermanshah, Iran. Data were collected through semi‐structured interviews until data saturation was achieved.
