Guglielmo M. Trovato, Camille A. Huser, Lynn Wilson, Giovanni S. Leonardi

TL;DR
Health professionals in Europe need better training on environmental health and climate change to address growing health risks and inequities.
Contribution
The paper proposes a unified approach to integrate environmental health education into medical training across Europe.
Findings
Current training on environmental health and climate change for health professionals is fragmented across Europe.
Persistent obstacles include isolated innovations and curricula that lack sustainability in clinical competencies.
The conference proposed an operational education package and a permanent working group to advance environmental health training.
