TL;DR
This study followed patients with Long COVID for three years and found limited symptom improvement, though physical exercise showed some benefits.
Contribution
The study provides longitudinal evidence on Long COVID symptom evolution and suggests physical exercise may partially improve symptoms.
Findings
After three years, Long COVID patients still had similar symptom scores to their initial ones and worse than controls.
Physical exercise (aerobic/anaerobic) was linked to reduced pain severity in some patients.
Most symptoms, like fatigue and emotional disorders, did not show statistically significant improvement.
