Abstract
Patient satisfaction is widely recognized as a key indicator of healthcare quality and an essential measure of performance in emergency departments. As the emergency department represents the first point of contact for many patients, understanding the factors that influence satisfaction is crucial for improving care delivery. This systematic review aimed to assess patient satisfaction and identify the factors associated with satisfaction in the emergency department. A systematic search of PubMed and Google Scholar was conducted to identify relevant studies published between 2019 and 2022 using combinations of the keywords "Factors," "Affecting," "Patient," "Satisfaction," "Emergency," and "Department."
