TL;DR
A clinic improved pneumococcal vaccination rates by 364% using a digital reminder system and provider education.
Contribution
A quality improvement initiative combining SmartPhrase integration and quarterly education significantly boosted PCV20 vaccination rates.
Findings
PCV20 vaccination rates increased by 364% after implementing a SmartPhrase and education program.
Quarterly vaccination counts rose from 164 in 2023 to 761 in 2024.
The intervention led to improved adherence to updated CDC vaccination guidelines.
