Abstract
Improper biomedical waste (BMW) segregation is a critical patient and staff safety concern in healthcare institutions, particularly in resource-limited settings. Traditional monitoring methods using manual checklists are often delayed, nonstandardized, and ineffective in triggering timely corrective actions.
