TL;DR
This study explores what influences Latino older adults in San Francisco to get the RSV vaccine, finding that trust in health workers and family support are key motivators.
Contribution
The study identifies specific behavioral and social factors influencing RSV vaccine confidence and uptake among Latino older adults.
Findings
Only 3% of participants 60+ had received the RSV vaccine, despite high motivation after awareness.
Confidence in vaccine safety and trust in health workers strongly predicted motivation to vaccinate.
Cost concerns were a major practical barrier reported by 73% of participants.
