Olga Calle, Antonio Antúnez, Sergio José Ibáñez, Sebastián Feu

TL;DR
This study shows that using active teaching methods in sports improves students' motivation and psychological needs, with hybrid models being most effective.
Contribution
The study introduces a hybrid pedagogical model combining Game-Centered and Sports Education Models, showing it enhances psychological needs more than either model alone.
Findings
Both pedagogical models improved basic psychological needs and exercise intention.
The hybrid model significantly increased autonomy compared to the Game-Centered Model.
Boys reported higher relatedness than girls in the study.
