Abstract
Introduction: Traumatic dental injuries (TDIs) involving permanent anterior teeth are a prevalent type of dental injury in school-going children and can have a considerable impact on their physical health, psychological well-being, and social functioning. In the state of Goa, a study on TDI prevalence and its associated risk factors among children aged eight to 12 years has not been conducted. Aim: This study aimed to determine the prevalence of TDIs and its association with various risk factors in eight- to 12-year-old children in the state of Goa. Materials and methods: A cross‑sectional study was conducted on 2,732 school‑going children aged eight to 12 years.
