TL;DR
A voice-based remote care program for rural older adults improved their mental health and reduced caregivers' sense of being the sole support, despite not lowering overall caregiver burden.
Contribution
A scalable voice-based remote care program integrated with public health services for vulnerable rural older adults.
Findings
Participants showed significant reductions in depression and anxiety.
Caregivers felt less like the sole support provider despite no change in overall burden.
High adherence and engagement suggest feasibility of the program.
