TL;DR
This study finds that body dissatisfaction explains how intolerance of uncertainty relates to disordered eating in female university students.
Contribution
The study identifies body dissatisfaction as a key mediator linking intolerance of uncertainty to eating disorders in non-clinical populations.
Findings

Body dissatisfaction significantly predicted dieting and bulimia/food preoccupation.
The indirect effect of intolerance of uncertainty on eating attitudes was significant via body dissatisfaction.
