But CheckCif Said So!
Mohammad T Chaudhry, Justin A Newman

TL;DR
This presentation explores the challenges of refining complex inclusion structures and offers guidance for crystallographers and reviewers.
Contribution
The paper highlights common pitfalls in refining inclusion complex structures and suggests best practices for avoiding them.
Findings
Reviewers often fall into traps when assessing inclusion complex structures.
Refining these structures is complicated due to disorder and confusion.
Best practices are proposed for crystallographers and editors.
Abstract
In this presentation we will dive into the world of inclusion complexes and their often complicated, confusing, and heavily disordered structures. This presentation will look at some recent literature and point out pitfalls of refining these structures and will place particular emphasis on the traps that reviewers have fallen prey to. And finally, some best practices for crystallographers, reviewers, and editors will be presented.
