Contribution
This case report presents a rare instance of fungal endophthalmitis linked to eyebrow tattooing and emphasizes the importance of dynamic imaging in treatment assessment.
Findings
The patient's condition worsened after corticosteroid treatment due to misdiagnosis.
Metagenomic sequencing identified Aspergillus fumigatus as the causative agent.
Postoperative visual recovery and imaging showed successful antifungal treatment.
