## TL;DR

This paper reviews progress in using nanoparticle-based targeted delivery of proteasome inhibitors to treat multiple myeloma, addressing challenges like short drug half-life and toxicity.

## Contribution

A comprehensive review of nanocarrier mechanisms for proteasome inhibitors in multiple myeloma treatment.

## Key findings

- Nanoparticles improve drug solubility and circulation time for proteasome inhibitors.
- Targeted delivery reduces drug resistance and adverse effects in multiple myeloma patients.
- Current research highlights the potential of nanocarriers for more effective MM therapy.
